How to Place an Order?

You may place an order with us via email to [email protected] or fax it to our general fax number: +32 16 50 90 45.

An official order form is not required; a simple email message will suffice.

Mandatory Details:

• Delivery address
• Billing address
• Catalogue number, description, and size of the item(s)
• Quantity/number of units and a price or price reference

Optional Details:

• VAT number (see "Invoicing" section)
• Order reference number for invoice/delivery note

Delivery Time, Shipping Conditions & Fees

Delivery time is usually 1-2 weeks for non-custom products. Unexpected delays may occur.

Indicative Lead Times

Products are shipped with UPS (Europe) and FedEx (overseas). Hazardous goods may use Schenker.

Shipping fees are set at a flat rate per country. Dry ice shipments incur additional fees.

Payment terms: 30 days net after invoice issuance. Tetragenetics reserves the right to require prepayment.

All products remain the property of Tetragenetics until the invoice is paid in full.

Invoicing

Tetragenetics has local VAT offices in: Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and United Kingdom.

For other countries, invoices are issued from Tetragenetics Belgium. A VAT number is required for VAT-free invoicing.

Customers from the USA are invoiced locally via Genprice Inc. in San Jose, California.

Prices

• Prices on the website are without VAT and exclude shipping/handling.
• Dry ice and hazardous material shipments incur additional fees.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Tetragenetics is not obligated to process orders with outdated prices. Prices are the same for all countries; only local taxes and shipping vary.

MTAs, Controlled Products & Licenses

Material Transfer Agreements (MTA)

MTAs may be required for cell lines, tissue cultures, plasmids, and vectors. Price differences exist between commercial and academic entities.

Controlled Products

Controlled products may require additional documents (end-use declarations, facility certifications).

Receipt and Performance of Products

Inspect products immediately for damage, loss of ice, or leaks. Report issues right away.

For performance issues, send the catalog number, product name, and Lot number with your results to our technical support team.

• Tetragenetics is not liable for products used beyond expiration dates.
• No replacement for damage due to improper storage/handling after receipt.
• Returns may require verification from the manufacturer.

Money-Back Guarantee & Store Credit

Full refund or store credit for products damaged beyond a usable state, provided the issue is reported immediately with proof.

Exceptions:

• Improper storage or mishandling
• Use outside of tested applications
• Failure to follow instructions
• Operation by unqualified personnel
• Reporting issues after expiration date

Cancellation of Orders and Returns

Orders can be cancelled before processing. Non-stock products: 24-48 hours. Stock products may ship in less than 1 hour.

Tetragenetics reserves the right to refuse cancellations if expenses have been incurred or items are in transit.

Wrongful deliveries may be returned within 30 days (sealed and undamaged). Tetragenetics covers shipping costs.

Discounts and Samples

Orders of 2+ items from the same producer qualify for quantity discounts. Bulk orders receive discounts regardless of supplier.
